Each idea determines its own form.
Chad Mount is an experimental, transdisciplinary artist whose work explores perception, visionary states, natural systems, and the relationships among light, sound, consciousness, and space.
Guided by curiosity and a persistent openness to possibility, he works across painting, drawing, projection, sound, moving image, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. He draws from the patterns, rhythms, and generative processes found in nature, allowing each idea to determine its own form.
His engagement with artificial intelligence extends beyond image generation, treating it as a medium for experimentation, dialogue, and the development of visual and conceptual systems.
In recent years, his practice has moved more deliberately toward mental imagery, consciousness, and the capacity of light, sound, and patterned sensory experience to alter perception.
Alongside his independent practice, Mount creates site-responsive installations and immersive visual systems for cultural, public, outdoor, and aligned commercial contexts.
