My buddy Ian Christy just surprised me by filling my PO box w/ this 8″ beauty. It’s his newest QEE design I helped take it from drawn to vector stage, purely production non of the creative.
I didn’t realize this but apparently this toy is only approved fore 15yrs and up, so it says on the box.

Congrats Ian, it looks great!

It’s funny the 3 coasters I painted about 3 years ago and they were originally intended to hang as christmas tree ornaments. I removed the hooks and shipped them off to Spain to be a part of this ongoing exhibition. Poke around you’ll see some quality work from artists all over globe, very creative. This was a great project, and there are a lot more coasters in this project than what’s listed on the site. Actually I’m curious to know how many have been collected over the years.
James MARR is a great guy to work with, respectful and friendly. I encourage any artist w/ the least bit of interest in participating in a quality international collaborative albeit low brow exhibition to run to your nearest bar and start collecting coasters while downing a pint or two.
When the project began I recall seeing photographs online of all these coasters plastered on the walls throughout a Pub and I wish I could locate it but some reason they’ve pulled it off line.

I’ve recently started in on another bar napkin doodle series.
More to come.
